Everest Base Camp trek itinerary

  • Day 1: Pick up from KTM airport and arrive at hotel in KTM

  • Day 2: Orientation and shopping in Thamel for final supplies

  • Day 3: Drive to Manthali Airport and fly to Lukla (30min by plane) and then trek to Phakding (3-4 Hrs 2640m/ 8659ft)

  • Day 4: Trek to Namche (6-7 Hrs 3450m/ 11316ft)

  • Day 5: Acclimatization Day- Visit Khumjung and return

  • Day 6: Trek to Deboche (5-6 Hrs 3860m/ 12660ft)

  • Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (6-7 Hrs 4420m/ 14497ft)

  • Day 8: Acclimatization day- Trek to Nagarjunga view point and return

  • Day 9: Trek to Lobuche (4-5 Hrs 4910m/ 16104ft)

  • Day 10: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m/ 17593ft) and then to Gorakshep (8-9 hours 5180m/ 16990ft)

  • Day 11: Climb Kala Pathar (5620m/ 18433ft) and back to Pheriche (6-7 Hrs 4220m/ 13841ft)

  • Day 12: Trek to Namche (7-8 Hrs 3450m/ 11316ft)

  • Day 13: Trek to Lukla (6-7 Hrs)

  • Day 14: Return to Kathmandu

  • Day 15: Airport drop for return to home country
