He is the soul of the company with his shining and optimistic attitude. With his professionalism and experience he makes sure that all the Red Panda treks and expeditions are of top quality.\n\nPhurpoo has been working in the trekking industry since 2002. He grew up in a small village near Makalu base camp. He began as a porter and then worked his way up to junior and then senior guide and now owns his own trekking company. At age 9 he moved to Kathmandu. He started guiding after he realized that \u201cTrekking refreshes people and builds character\u201d. He started working for Red Panda in 2017. He is a religion and cultural expert and adds a lot of knowledge to the trek. \u201cI like the adventure of trekking and seeing new cultures and places\u201d.\nSamuel is certified through the Nepal
